Yesterday was the unofficial start of summer. So get out your swimsuits and fire up that grill. Oh and grab your iPhone.
No, no your iPhone does not have an app that will cook the meal for your next BBQ. But with iDevices’ iGrill you can check the temperature of your meat remotely from on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
iGrill uses a Bluetooth connection to communicate with your iPhone, leaving you free to do other things without standing over your grill to check the temperature of your meat. Comes with one temperature probe, but has multi-probe support.
The iGrill app is free from the App Store and includes features such as food temperature option, remaining cooking time, multiple views, recipes and kitchen timer.
Perfect gift for dad this father’s day. It’s $99 from Amazon and rumor has it that Android compatibility is coming soon.
