In the wake of Wienergate, everyone’s talking about sending messages, tweets and emails by mistake. And yes, we’ve all done it. Mine was and email about my boss accidentally send to his wife. Good times.
Now there’s a solution. TigerText is an app available for iPhone, Android phone, BlackBerry and Wp7. Not only will it immediately pull back a text message before it is read, but you can also set a time limit on how long a text is viewable.
If your friends or business associates also have the TigerText app, you can create groups, which permits you to add and delete people individually. The group feature allows you to maintain the same control over who receives your text messages.
More cool features include prohibiting a message from being forwarded, the ability to create a private username to keep your personal info private, and message delivery confirmation.
Both the app and the service is free on all smartphone platforms. Currently all the features are available for the iPhone, with the others coming soon.
